What We're Looking For:

We’re seeking a lively and enthusiastic Food Expediter who’s ready to dive into the fast-paced world of food service. If you have a passion for food, and love making people smile.

Position Summary:

As a Food Expediter , you’ll be the crucial link between our kitchen and our guests. You’ll ensure that every dish arrives hot, fresh, and looking Instagram-ready. Your role is all about speed, precision, and providing top-notch service with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables quickly and accurately
• Ensure all dishes meet our presentation and quality standards
• Assist servers and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth workflow
• Keep the dining area clean and organized
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure excellent service
• Handle customer inquiries with a friendly and positive attitude

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Passion for food and hospitality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent multitasking abilities
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
• Must wear non-slip shoes for safety ( please note that the company does not provide )

Physical Requirements:

• Manual Dexterity: Skilled in both gross and fine manipulation
• Vision Acuity: Peripheral vision and near/far visual accuracy
• Hearing Ability: Effectively hear and respond to instructions in a bustling environment
• Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling: Capable of handling and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Standing and Walking: Able to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining focus and precision
• Flexibility and Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move fluidly
• Tolerance to Environmental Conditions: Comfortable working in diverse temperatures (hot, humid, cold) and tolerating moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents
• Allergy Tolerance: Able to handle a wide variety of fresh ingredients without adverse allergic reactions
• Step-Stool and Ladder Use: Confidently utilize a step-stool or ladder as needed
• Physical Balance: Maintain stability and balance while executing tasks efficiently
• Clear Communication Skills: Convey instructions clearly and communicate with team members effectively, even in busy or noisy environments
• Reaching Ability: Capable of reaching below the waist, at the waist, and overhead
