Group Fitness Instructor (Independent Contractor)

Location: The Club at Renaissance, Ft. Myers, FL (12821 Renaissance Way)

Position Type: Independent Contractor – Part-time

Rate: $50 per class

About Us

The Club at Renaissance is an exclusive, gated private club serving members and invited guests. We offer a daily schedule of group fitness classes (excluding Sundays) within a beautifully equipped facility that includes air-conditioned studio, gym and an outdoor resort-style pool.

Class Schedule (Seeking Substitute Instructor Coverage):

• Wednesdays at 9:00 AM (Aqua Fitness).
• Saturdays at 9:30 AM (Aqua Fitness).
  
  

What You’ll Do:

• Lead dynamic, safe, and engaging group exercise classes at scheduled times.
• Provide modifications and attention to diverse fitness levels.
• Ensure class areas and equipment are clean and safe for participants.
• Represent TCR with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm.

Required Qualifications:

• Accredited Group Exercise Certification , Aqua Fitness Certification , and CPR/AED.
• 3–5 years of group fitness instructing and/or personal training experience.
• Liability insurance covering independent contractor's fitness services.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Additional certifications (e.g., HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, Strength Training).
• Familiarity working within private or resort-style fitness environments.
